Professor Land Discusses Raptors and Rodenticides at the Chappaqua Library

Environmental Studies and Science Clinical Professor Michelle Land, JD, presented on raptors and rodenticides at an event focused on helping local birds of prey at the Chappaqua Library. This free public event was hosted by the Saw Mill River Audubon.
Professor Land’s discussion addressed harmful effects on local predators, the need for state policy change, practical steps for residents, and the Pace University Animal Advocacy Clinic’s work to restrict anticoagulant rodenticides. Professor Land is the director of Pace’s Animal Policy Project and co-teaches the Animal Advocacy Clinic with Seidenberg Professor John Cronin.
